When will I get surveys?

You will only receive surveys you qualify for. We are always working hard to bring you more survey opportunities, so be patient. Since you are not required to share your social security, phone number, credit card or any other vital personal information, you have nothing to lose by being a Specpan member.

How do I qualify for surveys?

First you need to be a Specpan panelist by joining Specpan. Once you are a Specpan member, we use the information you provided us to determine if you meet a survey's requirements. You can update your information by logging in to your account.

How do I get surveys?

First you must qualify for a survey. If you meet the survey's requirements, you will receive an e-mail with a link to your survey.

Why haven't I gotten any surveys?

You will only receive a survey if you omeet that survey's qualifications. If you have not gotten a survey for some time it's because you have not met survey requirements or we do not have any surveys at the time. We are always working hard to bring you more survey opportunities, so thank you for your patience.

When will I get rewarded for completing a survey?

Once you complete a survey you will immediately receive points in your Specpan account. You can redeem your points at anytime towards an entry in various prize drawings.

What are the surveys about?

Each survey will vary, and can ask about your purchase habits, product brands, products you use, etc. Surveys will pertain to your profession or areas of interest, so each survey you receive will be relevant to you.

We work mainly with manufacturers and retailers who need your input and opinions so they can make future decisions on their products or company.

Why do I need to create a Password?

A password is required when you join Specpan so you can securely log in to your account. Your Specpan password can be completely unique. It is for your use only when logging in to your Specpan account.

Why isn't the join form working properly?

You do not need cookies enabled to join Specpan. However, pop-up blockers may cause some problems when trying to choose a Profession, so first disable any pop-up blockers when you join Specpan. You can also add www.specpan.com as a trusted site for your web browser by going to your Internet Options.

Can Canadian citizens join Specpan?

You bet! We love our neighbors to the North and welcome them to join Specpan. Make sure to enter Canadian zip codes with the proper format of "A1A 1A1".

Why do you need my address and other information?

By your address collecting other information we can qualify you for surveys that pertain to your profession or areas of interest. It is very important to keep your profile current to ensure you qualify for relevant surveys.

Why can't I log in to my account?

Once you join, it may take up to 48 hours for your account to become active. Before then you may not be able to log in to your account. Make sure you are using the correct e-mail address and password. You can request a password by clicking on Forgot Password.

What is my account for?

You can change or update any of your information by logging in to your account. It is very important to keep your information current to ensure you receive surveys you are eligible for and to make sure your rewards can be delivered. You can also see which surveys you have been sent, which surveys you have completed or not completed, and how many points you have earned.

How do I remove myself from Specpan?

If you don't wish to be a Specpan member any longer, simply send an e-mail to removeme@specpan.com and type the subject "Remove from panel."

How do you qualify panelists?

We work with companies and organizations that have customers who meet our needs. Through these partnerships, we drive their qualified customers to join Specpan. From there we ask targeted questions based on how a member completes the Specpan member application. This helps to ensure we have highly qualified panelists.

Where do you get your panelists?

We get most of our qualified members through alliances with companies and organizations with similar customers. As Specpan grows and gains popularity, we also see many members join simply by word of mouth.

What demographics do you have on panelists?

We focus on B2B research so we collect demos that are industry specific in addition to more generic demos such as age and income. You can then use all these specific demographics to segment a panel to meet your needs. We give you the power to choose which professionals you want to talk to, and we provide you demographics which allow you to better target your specific audience. You bet! Because we focus on the B2B market, our samples are always national. Contact us to find out how many samples we can provide you for your project needs.

Yes. Our goal is to treat our members like gold, and it shows because our panelists are very, very responsive. We handle all incentive management, so you have nothing to worry about.

What is Specpan's survey process?

We take the work out of your hands and make our survey process smooth and easy. Our basic process requires the client to send us their survey and specify which panelists should receive their survey. From there you can sit back and relax. We will program, test and publish the survey on the internet, where you can then take a look and review your survey. We then e-mail the survey to your specified panel, manage the survey, collect the data, compile the data, reward the panelists and give you the final survey data; all within weeks, not months. What do I get once the field time is complete?

With Specpan you have a few options, so pick which is best for you. Bare minimum we will give you the survey data in aggregate form via an Excel file, Access file, SPSS file, .tsv file and a Power Point file which contains graphs and tables of all closed end questions.
